Diesel Power Plants

Since HHI successfully completed a 20 MW-class diesel power plant in Jeju, Korea, the company has expanded its activities in the diesel power generation sector and played a key role in the global power market. It has completed quality diesel power plants throughout the world as a turnkey contractor, including a 200 MW diesel power plant in India, the largest power plant in the world using a diesel engine as its prime mover. Based on advanced technology accumulated through its research and development activities, HHI is ready to offer the most advanced 4-stroke medium-speed diesel engines, the Hyundai-HiMSENH17/28, H21/32, H25/33 and H32/40. Utilizing the Hyundai-HiMSEN engine and its creative power system engineering capabilities, HHI developed a containerized Packaged Power Station (PPS) designed for continuous operation under a base load with HFO or DO. This power station is much more advanced than similar products designed for emergency or stand-by purposes. Safety, reliability, lower O&M costs, and a considerably longer lifetime are the key ingredients of the PPS. The Hyundai HiMSEN 4-stroke medium-speed engine provides efficient and reliable power and promises years of trouble-free operation. Heavy-duty sound attenuated containers and simple layouts ensure quiet and simple operation. These exceptional features, combined with HHI’s technical background and support, make the PPS the best choice for all power customers.
